>> and you know he in the sunshine state i'm happy to say we see a lot of people with those solar panels on their roof. talk about some of those benefits. >> yeah, you guys in florida have a lot of solar, more than


75,000 homes have solar there, and the benefits are numerous. in addition to environmental benefits, whic are abundant from powering your home from the sun. there's also the benefit of using your money more wisely, so instead of writing a check to


the utility every month, now insed you're spending that money on an investment that has equity, that adds value to your home and there's a 30% federal income tracks credit. so that's really beneficial for people to help them p less in income taxes and also have a


smarter source of electricity. >> that's good to know. i was unaware about the tax credit. a good resource to know about there. it looks pretty cool when you're looking at the video there. what is that process like to get


that installed? >> well, it depends. it depends on how much electricity you need and what your goals are, but i would say typically a homeowner can be expecting anywhere from $10,000-$30,000 after the tax credit, and there's a lot of


financial vehicles, so there's zero down options, and so it kind of just depends. and i like too when you're talking about the price point and the cost you have to think about it might be more for that initial investment but the money you're going to save monthly


along the way. >> you can either completely or mostly eliminate your electricity bill, and instead of spendin that $100 or $200 a month on your electricity bill you're investing something that has tangible value, adds value to your home and has a result on


investment. has a pay back instead of when you send money to the utility it's gone. >> is there any upkeep to those panels or what is that like? do you have to replace them every so often? how long do they typically last?
