edmond. koco kim passoth is live in edmond at one of those stations. how did the thieves go undetected? reporter: if you put your credit card into one of the pumps you probably don't even
know it. police say the thieves targeted pumps like this one out of the line of sight of the clerk. they open the faceplate of the pump and put in the skimmers. is collecting all of the information. reporter: looks like a bunch
of white wire. one of three skimmers found inside circle k gas pumps. it is somebody that knows what they are doing. reporter: the skimmers were hidden inside the pumps at three different edmond stations when at santa fe in edmond road
another at 15 and kelly and another at 15 and broadway. it is sad you can't even go get gas these days let alone go out to eat and pay with your debit card. reporter: someone who noticed fraudulent charges last week went to edmond police.
somebody charge $200 worth of stuff they didn't purchase. reporter: they used the credit card at the gas station so they canceled it opened a new one and went to get more gas. that new bank account was compromised.
reporter: edmond police asked circle k to check all of their pumps. we encourage anyone that got gas at these places specifically to check their account. reporter: if you filled up recently at any of these gas
stations immediately check your credit card statement. if you do find fraudulent activity contact the police. while this guy is on the loose that is doing this, the best advice is to use the pumps
