Bank Of America Alaska Airlines Credit Card

Bank Of America Alaska Airlines Credit Card, the number one tip of getting cheapflights is you have to be flexible there's no way they're gonna get cheapflights without being flexible and i'm talking about flexible on the dates thatyou're flying flexible on the times that you're flying flexible on thedestination that you are flying and

flexible on the airports if you are flexible in all of those andmore even more flexible than that then i promise you we can find you somecheap tickets know your airline comparison engines. thebest ones that i use and that most travel vloggers use are kayak, momondo skyscanner, hipmunk and airfarewatchdog. those are the best ones that i'vepersonally found. so the first thing we are going to do is obviously check theairline comparison engines they're going to compare different airlines and differenttypes of tickets then go to those

airlines direct site and see if maybethey offer a better deal or better route another trick is if you find a cheapflight on one of these airline comparison engines take that flight to your local travelagent and ask them match that, a lot of times they willmatch it or even beat the price so that's another way to get an evencheaper flight from the cheap flights check the surrounding airports in thatcity and in nearby cities as it tends to be cheaper to flying to larger airports this is especially true in europe whenthere are so many large cities close by it's really easy to take busses and trainsto get to the city you want to go to. just

remember though before you startcelebrating your great savings by flying into another airport or another citythat's close by check the price of how much it's goingto cost for you to get from the airport city to your hotel or to your intendeddestination because that can add up to be quite a bit more and if you're notcareful than the price kind of negates itself and there's no point of flying to the other city if its just going to cost you the same goes for booking red eyes and her booking early morning flights make sure you know the cost of gettingfrom the airport to your hotel because

that could add up to quite a bit extra you are not careful especially in themorning time when public transportation is not running or late at night when publictransportation is not running and then you're forced to take taxis which arealways going to be more expensive then public transportation thus making your total airfare costsmore expensive. if you have more time on your hands you can set up somethingcalled a price alert. kayak does this really well. when you have a saved route and they will alert you when that route's price goes down or if it's going topotentially go up higher so it will give

you advice on when you should buy thatticket to get you like the best price possible that's a very good tool another goodtool is used the airfare watchdog would you have to put your departing airportin and they will tell you when there's great deals either everywhere or likecertain place that you want to go another option is signing up for a dealso these are deals from the airline's directly, these are deals from tour companies for flights, things likeflight center or they are deals from the airline comparison engines and basicallyif you can put up with news letters

coming in to your inbox quite frequentlythey usually have like flash one day sales, two day sales, discounts andpercentages off on certain destinations keeping on with the flexibility topic don't pick your destination firstgoogle.com / fights have an amazing tool that basically lets you put in yourdeparting airport and searched everywhere else in the world and itgives you the cheapest flights in that time period that you are selecting, so ifyou're flexible on the destination you can get some really great price flights. one, it's a great way to get a cheapflight, and two it opens your mind to

destinations you never would havethought of visiting before. airline credit cards. if you haven't already signup for one you need to get a points card in one ofthe three major airline alliances. sky team, star alliance, one world. whichone of those you choose will be dependent on whatever is your localcarrier so wherever you live whatever airline serves that destinationthat airport more frequently or your country more frequently get thecorresponding airline alliance airline card for that by signing up you willautomatically get bonus sign up . almost all offer a signing bonus just forsigning up and normally that's almost

a free flight or is a free flight, just bysigning for the credit card. then put everything that you buy on that creditcard i'm talking about everything put your groceries put anything that youby buy, trying putting like your rent, stuff like that if you can on that credit cardbecause every dollar you spend is a point that gets you a free flight justby buying things that you are already going to be buying already going to bespending money on. obviously don't go crazy and start buying things you don't needand make sure you don't keep a balance because then you're just going to bepaying interest which is counteracting all the points that we are accumulating.book your tickets in parts. there's

gonna be a whole lot of trial and errorthat's involved in this. booking your tickets in parts gives you a lot offlexibility because you can, one, leave from different airports in differentcities and different countries so that's a lot easier to look into that and soone airport, one city or one country might be cheaper than the other so whenyou add up this two one ways it's actually cheaper than the return ticket. letssay you were traveling from australia to england and your destination is englandcheck out maybe if you want to do a stopover somewhere in between you canstop over in dubai or something so you can book a one way to dubai and thenbooked a separate one way from dubai to

england check the price of that to see if that'seven cheaper than flying directly to when do we fly? weekends can't be moreexpensive because a lot of people fly it because they have the time off duringthe weekend this is pretty much standard knowledgeso fly during the weekday. don't fly during the holidays don't do it. you are not going to get acheap flight it doesn't happen holidays are just ridiculous. airlinesalways increase their fares always increase of traffic

it's chaos. if you can avoid flyingduring the holidays avoid it. delete your cookies aka your browser's save settings, becauseif you are looking at a certain flight by some flight airline carriers do this some airlines do this but they save yourdata and they might increase the price because they want you to create thaturgency that you should buy right away because now the price is going up. buydomestic flights domestically and buy international flights wherever. but try not to buy domesticflights in any country that you were

going to when you were abroad by thoseflights when you were in the country because they are cheaper with the localcurrencies in the local search engines and when you were there trust me best days to buy tuesdays orwednesdays maybe thursday it's basically just went all the airlineother deals come out so. best time to buy for domestic flights i find between three months to about twoweeks you can get pretty decent price and domestic flights after two weeks inthen you're kind of going to be paying a

bit more because its so like last minute. forinternational flights it's between five months - i would saythree weeks. after about three weeks those international plates can go quiteup but any time in between there then you're probably going to get an ok deal fly standby. if you are super superflexible like really flexible and you're ready for an adventure in risk you could always fly standby which islike going to the airport being like so what flights have we got here

what can you put me on what's the bestprice where to? now you hop on a flight and they can be pretty cheap i have not personally ever done that becausei like to know a little bit more of what my destination is, but i do know friendsthat do fly stand by, a lot so if you are flexible and you're justlike ready to go on an adventure that is an option for you. things to lookout for. excess fees, excess fees, there is nothing worse than buying a cheap ticketthat you thought was cheap and then going to the airport and realizingyou're going to be paying fifty dollars each way for your bags

that doesn't make it a cheap ticketanymore, so make sure you know that whatever flight and airline you'reflying with, do they charge for baggage fees finding cheap flights is a lot of trialand error it takes a lot of time there is noperfect formula there is no magic button it takes just trying testing putting indifferent locations putting in different things, waiting, being patient keeping your eye out for stuff and being really really really really flexible remember flexible on date time locationand you can you find them

i promise you can find cheaper flight ifyou put in that time and it's worth it take it from me, that time is worth it when youare saving hundreds of dollars all right thank you so much for watchingthis video i hope you enjoyed it if there is any other things that imissed, let me know down below in the comments and don't forget tosubscribe to my youtube channel for more travel videos and more travel tips all right bye
