Solar Panels Utah

anti-solar forces in floridaare attempting to trick florida voters on an important ballotinitiative that will be on the ballot on november 8 byco-opting the language of solar supporters, by appearing to begreen themselves they are trying to get florida to screwthemselves over.

Solar Panels Utah

Solar Panels Utah, we know this because of a tape that was doneat one of their meetings, talking about their strategizingon how to get people to go for this extremely corporationfriendly ballot initiative.

they said this -- what they are debating rightnow is amendment 1 in florida, which if you simply look at theamendment it seems to be extremely friendly to solarenergy. it puts in a constitutional right to havingrooftop solar panels on an individual level. but it alsostops those who do not have

solar from subsidizing peoplewho do have solar, which is where it gets more complicatedand eventually could be used as it has been in other states tomake it less economically feasible or desirable to pursuesolar. under the amendment -- the idea there is that for a lot of people with rooftop solar, they produce not only theenergy that they need, but at certain times of day, moreenergy than they can use.

that is then shipped back out intothe grid, which saves us from having to use dirtier forms ofenergy, and is it seems like a net good for society, for theindividuals, and also for our planet. and people don't likethis, this net metering concepts, they want to shut itdown and stop any kind of financial incentive tooverproducing energy. there is a

little bit more to it but i'minterested in what you think. it's so disgusting, it'sbasically saying i have just as much right to be paid for notproducing energy and sending it back to the grid as you do to bepaid for producing energy, and it's an infringement on myrights to pay you for something you are producing. i'd love tosee this concept extended to capitalism altogether, thatevery company on earth is violating the rights of otherpeople when it gets paid for the

product it sells because otherpeople are not being paid for the product it sells. it makesno sense unless you wanted to deceive or manipulate people. ithas nothing to do with political disagreement, these are badhuman beings. and it sets back one of thethings that could get us off of dirtier forms of energy that arewreaking havoc across our country and the world.

the vice president of thejames madison institute, who gave this speech -- that humanbeing. yes. there was a lawsuit totry to stop this ballot initiative from going forwardwith the language it has now, which was deceptive -- thatlawsuit lost and it will go forward but one of the justices said this -- that is very clear, thepro-solar forces are trying to

make people know what the dealis when it comes to amendment 1. unfortunately -- hopefully if you are inflorida, vote against this initiative and understand thatif you are not in florida, this is the sort of strategy they areusing in many other states. i've seen it in arizona andcalifornia, the idea is if you are not on solar, we want tomake you pissed off at the people who are. and one of thetactics they use is to say that

the energy grid needs to bemaintained, and as people take themselves off the grid usingsolar, you have to pay to maintain it but they don't.shouldn't we fine them for that? that has become common acrossthe country. you could go on to solar. you could, if it is possibleand more economically feasible, do that.
